Mozambican Women’s Day

On April 7, Mozambican Women’s Day is celebrated in commemoration of Josina Machel, heroine of the struggle for national liberation that promoted the emancipation of African women, becoming an icon.

This year in Ibo our group of activists, overwatched by our collaborator Judite, participated in the institutional celebration with music and traditional dances.

From Fundación IBO we want to congratulate all these women who continue to fight for their rights, with the aim of becoming the protagonists of their own development and their community.

Happy Mozambican Women’s Day!
